Solution consultant

What you will do:

• Participating in meetings with the sales team to scope prospect’s business problems and desired outcomes;
• Act as key consultant in discovery, presentation, configuration, and demonstration of Algolia solution;
• Keep the most advanced Algolia knowledge and bring it across the company (consult sales with technical expertise, provide technical support and documentation for POCs, RFP, consult team&customers, etc);
• Lead Algolia customer onboarding process (actual documentation including custom decs by request, customer trainings, etc);
• Manage new features testing and complex cases launches (transparent workflow, prioritization list, results, customer feedback, etc);
• Keep track of platform updates (announcements for the team, trainings, Q&A, etc);
• Suggest best solutions from portfolio for prospects’ business requirements;
• Lead Algolia customers as a main contact (relationship, QBRs, regular statuses, support, etc);
• Drive solution usage processes with current & new vendors to get maximum value for Stellar and customer (optimize processes, aggregate bugs, escalate epics, etc);
• Build and evolve partnership with vendors;
• Conducting hands-on workshops;
• Create documentation, FAQ and training materials;
• Travel and participation in industry events and prospect and customer on-site meetings.

We are looking for:

• Experience with SaaS solutions is desirable;
• Ability to think systematically and quickly make independent, rational decisions;
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer-oriented approach;
• Being open-minded and creative in finding business opportunities and improvements;
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices (Agile, RoadMap, Google Analytics, etc.);
• Superior organizational skills working with multiple customers and have the ability to switch context quickly throughout the day with various competing demands and attention to detail;
• Continuously learn and update skills and keep aware of industry trends;
• Experience in search open source solutions is preferable: elastic search, apache solr, SPHINX, Google Search, Yandex Search etc.
